SYNOPSIS
Steve has moved from job to job in the Washington, DC area but no one has wanted to pay him more than baseline wages. His new job pays well and thrusts him into the resolutely transactional world of policy entrepreneurs. Steve wants to establish a secure base for the next stage of his life but, as a fish out of water in the policy trenches, he struggles to reconcile the needs of the industry with his personal values. As careers and friendships blossom and implode around him, Steve must make difficult decisions to survive the DC environment.
